Programming of the New Year’s Eve Celebration in Downtown Florianópolis 2027
Florianópolis is preparing another unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebration to welcome 2027.
The city’s official free event will once again transform Beira-Mar Norte and Beira-Mar Continental into two of the largest public celebration areas in Southern Brazil, featuring national artists, a spectacular fireworks display, and the traditional fireworks waterfall on the iconic Hercílio Luz Bridge.
Every year, hundreds of thousands of residents and tourists gather along the waterfront to celebrate the arrival of the New Year. Based on the previous edition, the city expects more than 700,000 people to attend the celebrations across the official venues, making it one of Brazil’s largest New Year’s Eve events.
Beira-Mar Norte
The main stage at Beira-Mar Norte will feature Brazilian country music star Ana Castela, one of the biggest names in contemporary Brazilian music.
The waterfront is also expected to host the city’s largest concentration of spectators, who will enjoy the fireworks show and the traditional fireworks waterfall from Hercílio Luz Bridge.
Beira-Mar Continental
On the Continental waterfront, visitors will celebrate with Sorriso Maroto, one of Brazil’s most successful pagode bands.
The concert is expected to attract thousands of fans and provide an exciting alternative for those celebrating on the mainland.
